Each postdoctoral fellow (trainee) who enters the Tri-Institutional Molecular Mycology and Pathogenesis Training Program (Tri-I MMPTP) will receive an NIH-level stipend commensurate with his or her years of postdoctoral experience. Additional funding will help to support health insurance costs for the trainee and his or her family, annual travel funds to attend scientific meetings ($1,000 each year), and the opportunity to mentor an undergraduate assistant in the summer. In conversations with their mentors, the trainees are also encouraged to consider additional courses to support their overall training program. Supplemental funding for these activities will be considered on an individual basis.
Stipend Levels for each year will be determined in accordance with NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) award levels.
