Research Interest:
Ian was born and raised in Sunrise, Florida. He completed his undergraduate studies at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011, where he remained as a lab technician and graduate student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and UNC. He focuses on the development of in vitro technologies to study metabolism and host-microbiota interactions.
Personal Interests:
Outside of the lab Ian enjoys cycling, playing soccer, and coffee.
