Research interests:
Catherine in interested in studying the role of transition metals at the host-pathogen interface. Specifically, she is interested in investigating the impact of azole drug stress on Candida albicans metallohomeostasis and the role of metals in the yeast-to-hyphae transition.
Personal interests:
When not in the lab Catherine enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 year old sons Cole & Kai, and pups Sidewalc & Consequence. In her limited spare time she enjoys reading, listening to music, and streaming the latest podcasts.
