Research Interests:
The care and husbandry of animals.

I grew up in Livingston, New Jersey and attended the University of Maine in Orono for my undergraduate studies. As an undergrad, I worked in Dr. Matthew Brichacek’s organic chemistry lab synthesizing novel nucleotides and evaluating their bio-activity. When I completed my study abroad program in Australia, I took an interest in animal husbandry within a research setting. After graduating in 2016 with a degree in Zoology and a minor in Neuroscience, I started working as an Animal Technician for zebrafish and axolotls at the MDI Biological Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine. In 2020, I wanted a change of pace and accepted the opportunity to join the Tobin Lab to work in the zebrafish facility and to be a supportive role in their research.

Personal Interests:
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, listening to music, hanging out with friends, baking or cooking with/for such friends, and exploring local breweries and coffee shops. When I can, I love traveling to different countries and experiencing the local culture and cuisine.
