Sullivan Elected to ASHG Board of Directors

Congratulations to MGM professor Beth Sullivan, PhD, upon her election to the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) Board of Directors.

Dr. Sullivan joins two other new Board members who were nominated and elected by ASHG members in a recent election. Their three-year term on the Board will begin on January 1, 2025.

Dr. Sullivan was nominated for the Board position by fellow MGM faculty colleague Doug Marchuk, PhD.

Founded in 1948, the American Society of Human Genetics is the primary professional membership organization for human genetics specialists worldwide. Its community of nearly 8,000 members include researchers, academicians, clinicians, laboratory practice professionals, genetic counselors, nurses, and others with an interest in human genetics and genomics.
