Tom Petes, the Minnie Geller Distinguished Professor of Research in Genetics in the School of Medicine and a Professor of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology, will be awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in the field of yeast genetics and outstanding community service from the Genetics Society of America (GSA).
