Research Interest: I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors in Genetics in 2019. While there, I researched sexual phenotype changes that occur in Wolbachia infected sister species of fruit flies and speciation. Now that I’m in the Ko lab, I study the genetics of Yersinia pestis infection and the natural selection this pathogen may have caused in humans. I am broadly interested in genetics, infectious disease, and host-pathogen evolution!
Personal Interests: I love movies, hiking, and crafting. When I have free time, catch me exploring local restaurants and breweries!
