Research Interest:
Exploring the link between microbial pathogenesis and gene regulation/expression in response to environmental stress.  I am currently studying temperature-dependent mutagenesis and the movement of transposons in the fungal pathogen Cryptococcus neoformans to determine whether transposition in C. neoformans occurs during host-pathogen interactions.

Personal Interests:
I enjoy cooking and entertaining with friends and family, enjoying all of the amazing food offerings in the area.
