Research Interests:
Host-Pathogens Interactions: I am originally from La Habana, Cuba. I obtained my Associate of Science degree from Houston Community College. Currently, I am an undergraduate student at Duke University majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. At Duke I am an undergraduate researcher in the Coers lab, where we study the role of IFN-inducible GTPases in cell-autonomous immunity.

Personal Interests:
In my free time I like to volunteer, paint, and read.
