Research Interest:

I grew up in a small town in North Georgia and earned my B.S. in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from Dalton State College in 2018. Starting 2019, I worked as a research assistant at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. While at Winship, I was involved in investigating the role of protein kinases in the intrinsic and acquired resistance to chemotherapy of various types of cancer.

My research interests include mechanisms of drug resistance in viruses and bacteria, microbial pathogenesis, and host immune response to infections.

Personal Interests:

I am a lover of dogs and spicy Korean rice cakes. In my free time I love reading, hiking, and traveling.
