Research Interest: My general research interests include protein quality control and post-translational modifications. I am working in the lab of Dr. Matt Scaglione. I work on a ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme (E2), the Ube2k. I am especially interested in investigating a) the structural-functional mechanisms underlying the K48-linked polyubiquitin chain synthesis by Ube2k. And b) the mechanisms on the regulatory roles of Ube2k in pathogenic Huntingtin protein quality control.

Personal Interests: Going for walks and watching squirrels.
