Research Interests: Host-Pathogen Interactions
I am from South Riding, Virginia and I graduated from Virginia Tech in the spring of 2015 with a degree in biochemistry. My undergraduate research work involved a computational screen for viral homologs of host immune proteins and subsequent binding studies. I came to Duke because the specialties of the MGM department aligned with my long-held goal of pursuing a career in research and the life sciences.
Outside of the lab, I enjoy rowing, hiking, and watching 90’s era sitcoms.
