Research Interest: The care and husbandry of zebrafish.
Personal Interests: I was born and raised in Springfield, Oregon and did my undergrad at Oregon State University. I graduated in 2013 with a degree in Marine Biology. As an undergrad I worked in a lab studying the chytrid fungus in frogs and there I discovered I enjoyed being in a supportive role in a research setting. In 2015 I started work in Alex Nechiporuk’s lab at Oregon Health and Science University as the zebrafish facility manager. In March 2017 I decided to mix things up and move to NC to work in the Tobin Lab here at Duke. In my free time I love to play board games, SCUBA dive, and dance.
