The Duke Center for Virology

serves as an intellectual home for scientists at Duke who are interested in viral replication and pathogenesis or in the use of attenuated viruses as gene therapy vectors or vaccines.

Center for Virology functions include:

Individuals who are interested in virology research at Duke are encouraged to investigate the research projects that are ongoing in the laboratories of the Center faculty. Candidates interested in post-doctoral research opportunities should apply directly to the laboratory in question, while graduate student applicants should apply to the graduate program of the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology.
