I recently received a BS in Biology with a concentration in medicine from Meredith College in Raleigh NC.  While completing my undergraduate degree, I worked at the Center for Integrated Fungal Research on the campus of NC State as a laboratory assistant under the direction Dr. Ralph Dean.  My research at NC State involved studying mating genes of Alternaria brassicicola.
