I was an undergraduate Duke student and graduated in the class of 2010 majoring in biological anthropology and anatomy with a chemistry minor. I began working in Dr. Heitman's lab in October 2008, assisting graduate student, Keisha Findley, with her work with members of the Tremellales in order to understand the mechanism of evolution of the MAT locus. I am currently a medical student.
