Hello! I came to Duke in 2009 and did rotations in the Tom Mitchell-Olds lab, the Dietrich lab, and the Noor lab. When I joined the Noor lab, began working on some metagenomic sequencing of fruit flies, correlations of genome-wide recombination rates with nucleotide variation, and a phenomenon called the interchromosomal effect. I am currently a rotating graduate student in the Petes lab.
Outside of lab I love to play soccer, hang out at various graduate student events, explore the town of Durham, and swim.
