Research Interest: Mouse strains as models for human cancers.
My name is Eric Jiang and I'm a graduate student in the UPGG program. I
grew up in China, Alaska, and Texas and did my undergrad at Duke as
well. I'm in the lab of Dr. Joseph Nevins and am currently working on a
project that uses the MMTV-myc mouse as a model for breast cancer
heterogeneity. Our lab primarily uses microarrays to classify cancer
subtypes based on expression differences. There is also a great deal of
statistics and computational work involving analysis of high dimensional
data.
Outside of lab, I enjoy (in no particular order of importance)
basketball, fishing, movies, and swimming.
